To the awesomeness that is an Eggo PBJ. I thought this was common knowledge, I've been doing it for years.

I'm an Eggo cream cheese sandwich kind of guy.

I prefer slathering one with butter and syrup, then throwing the second waffle on top and eating it like a sammich.

That would be correct. I use either buttermilk or "original" to get the full flavor effect from your pb&j of choice.

PB&J on an Eggo is my breakfast of choice, should I be forced to eat breakfast. Just peanut butter on the chocolate chip ones is a pretty good option, too.

I'm not much of a cream cheese guy myself. If I eat mine with butter and syrup I usually mix them in a small bowl and dip the Eggos.

I don't get chocolate chip ones very often, but that does sound damn good.

We should start our own line of toaster waffles. We can call them Oppo's.

"Right 300, 40 meters, left at the mouth, yummy."

That sounds like an amazing business! And the waffle design would be famous wheels designs. Torque thrust, BBSs, Trans-Am Snowflakes etc.

Oh damn, that does sound amazing. I will have to try that.

Eggos with vanilla ice cream on top is pretty fantastic. I recommend you try that.

What is this sorcery? I've never heard of such a contraption! I must try it now. Is there a specific type of jam you use? Or is it whatever suits the mood?

I prefer fruit, maple syrup and maybe whipped cream on my waffles.

Generally just Welch's grape because its smooth and flavorful. Seems to work pretty good.

Another good one - two Eggos, ice cream between them. Toast them so they are nice and hot, then put a few scoops of cold ice cream between them. Mucho tasty.

Hah! You guys are totally onto something. That, and only sell them in multiples of 4? Maybe release special winter edition and summer edition ones?

My mom used to make these when I was a kid. So tasty. My roommate in college was dumbfounded when I told him about it haha.

So, just to be clear, do you make a PB&J sandwich out of two Eggo, or do you put PB&J on top of one Eggo?

Because it's so simple that people that don't know are usually astounded.

I do mine with two Eggos, but she made one and cut it in half because she eats less than I do. But you still need at least a top and bottom somehow.

Hmmm. My boys love the homestyle waffles (we get the BIG box at Costco), so I'll have to suggest they try this. Thanks for the tip.

You know, a PB and bacon Eggo might be pretty amazing too.

My kids love Eggo PBJ, but prefer the Eggos to be blueberry, and straight from the freezer.

Don't ask me, man...

I eat the mini French toast ones straight from the freezer. I'm not a blueberry fan, but I get it.
